Eight Days A Week b/w

I Don't Want To Spoil The Party

Background

The Beatles first single of 1965, and continuing in their musical innovation and growth of the group. For the song Eight Days A Week, The Beatles start off the single with a fade in. Since records fade out at the end, the Beatles felt that maybe it would be interesting to have a song fade in at the beginning.

Apparantly, Beatles fans agreed, and Eight Days A Week shot to the top on all three record charts, with Billboard charting the B-side I Don't Want To Spoil The Party as high as number thirty-nine.
